How do you actually operate in temperatures like that? Do you even? I went to college in Vermont so I’m no stranger to -10, -20°F. I’ve even been out riding on days like that with really serious gear. However -50C is a different game.

Do you ever get used to it? When I lived in CO I could get used to single digits, the lowest we had was -24. THAT was miserable. -50, and I would be packing up and moving south.

Pretty much just don’t bother. Can get frost bite in less than 2 minutes it said. Got some frost bite on my hand out of my own stupidity by whipping my nose with my bare hand and grabbing the door handle.

I think it was only about -32 without the windchill. Anything more than -25 basically feels the same to me, first time breathing in the air genuinely hurt me though.

Cars don’t feel windchill..
-32 sucks, but you can get colder than that; -45 on 16A coming in from Spruce froze my throttle open on my mk2 Jetta..

It wasn’t that bad, was it? :p
That said, I didn’t do any work in the garage. Definitely too cold for that. I did try the trick of throwing a cup of boiling water into the air, and it totally does just turn into instant fog.

Think it was the day before new years eve. I was up at six and the wind chill said -50.....
Yeah we did that too, first time we just used hot water from the tap and now our deck is just icy.
